Welcome to the Cataraqui Conservation Foundation !

forever green

The Cataraqui Conservation      Foundation is a registered charity established in 1965 to raise funds to support the activities of the Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority.

The proceeds from our annual Forever Green gala and donations through our Partners in Education campaign support education and wildlife programs for young people at the Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area (Kingston) and the Mac Johnson Wildlife Area (Brockville), helping to ensure that future generations will continue to value the natural environment:

Education for Children, Conservation for All

The Foundation also raises funds to assist the Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority with the purchase of properties which contribute to the preservation of the region's watersheds.

The Foundation administers a program of Conservation Awards to acknowledge the contributions of individuals, groups, and organizations to the preservation of the natural environment.

The Cataraqui Conservation Foundation is guided by a volunteer board of directors representing a broad spectrum of the communities served by the Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority.
